Hi,
I read the one thread about blood donations. It seems rather odd to me.
I've been giving blood (plasma) donations since summer 2002 here (I had a total of 117 back in Canada). I am told I was the first foreigner to be awarded the silver medal for 35 donations, the first foreigner to receive the gold medal for 50 donations, and I recently gave my 83rd donation. hey've even joked with me that they don't know what they'll do when I reach 100!!! I have been written up in "YELLOW" the Korean Red Cross magazine, been the focus of a number of newspaper articles and have assisted the Red Cross as an advisor to their program. One news article from December 2005 hails me as "King of Foreigner Donors".
I cannot understand why they would refuse you.

Believe me. It happens. I've known several people who have been turned down with nonsensical excises. Did you tell them that you eat kimchi three times a day. Because that will Koreranify your blood and kill aids at the same time. Razz

"What's your blood type."
Ni idea.
"But it's important to know your blood type."
Why?
"Because it determines a person's personality type. Before dating someone, hiring an employee, etc it's important to know their blood type. People with different blood types are incompatible."
Are you suggesting that there are only four personality types?
"Yes. There are four personality types."
