My wife and i are coming to korea some time around june/july, i originate from the u.k. and my wife is thai. I was wondering if there's anybody else out there with a thai wife who could give us some advice about korea. We have not been before and i am in the process of looking for post for my self. Any advice would be great. |

That's a very vague question. I don't have a Thai wife, but just want to clarify what you are looking for. Do you need cultural advice like how Koreans treat Thai women? Do you need job advice like what kind of job can she get? Do you need advice about what to do if you Thai wife becomes an enraged adjumma? |

Give Spliff a PM.
my missus will be out here some time in the near future as well.
Not sure what she is going to do but I presume that she will get into some sort of business venture between here and Thailand.
She claims to be learning korean at the moment but i'm not sure how disciplined she is. |

I am looking for a job at the moment and was going to try and locate some where there is somebody else with a thai wife for company. And also gain any advice on my wife gaining work in korea. She is an english teacher and has been for many years she is fluent in english lang, oral and written but she cannot teach esl officially ?
We are looking for a place out of the way with a nice school i can teach at ? Not to fussy just as long as other teachers ok.
So if anyone no's any good schools or is even working at one now drop us a line ! |

My trouble and strife is coming over in May.
There is a Thai Spa quite near where I live, and she is a qualified masseuse so I'm wondering about if she can work doing that? |

I have a Thai g/f, and she works at a Thai spa in Jeongju (sp?). But it's really dodgy how Thais get work over here. A bunch of them (Thai girls) came over here and to get the "proper" visas they had to say that they were married to Korean men - it's just for show for immigration, but still quite dodgy. She's been here for a few months and is tired of the food and the long hours, but it helps that she's working with other girls who are Thai. |
