I read this article and felt like throwing up. This was like a Pyongyang special on the virtues of Juche except this one is about Korea and Korean guys. Two western women were the interviewees. Somehow I can't imagine two western guys talking about how great the Korean woman's rearend is etc making a naver article.

Ruby said, As I taught Korean students in Canada I completely fell into Koreas charm so I instinctively got on a plane.

These two both share something in common; they both fell deeply in love with Korean men.

After I came to Korea I went I was on the verge of marrying a Korean guy. However, his mother strongly opposed marriage. He is the oldest son so she said he couldnt marry a foreign woman. It was very difficult but I did understand the mothers position. (Ruby) Eve said, I was with a Korean guy for about 2 years in China and I had a good impression of Korea.

They count the Korean mans sense of responsibility as the most attractive thing. Eva, Korean men do military service so they become very responsible, dont they? Both will definitely marry Korean men and live in Korea. Ruby My mother has already commented excitedly that since I am marrying a Korean man if we have a child it will be really beautiful. But as soon as we asked Ruby about a Korean mans most pitiful moment she says when he loses to me in an arm wrestle he pulls a face like he is going to cry. His arms looked thin but after I looked again his muscles were great.

I saw Ahn Jae Wook on the internet and he was really really handsome. I really want to be involved in a scandal with a guy like that.

I translated it but I did it quickly so there is the potential for small mistakes.

I wonder just how little self respect the cunt had that she could "understand" the mother's position.

Especially while her own mother was so open-minded.

For sure, could you imagine that if roles were reversed. You bring a Korean gf back to your white-bread family and the mother states

"I'll have no gooks in this family."

to which the girl replies

"That's OK. I understand. Sorry for bothering you."

WTF?
Shocked

THIS THREAD IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THOSE GIRLS... BUT WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "Traitors to their race"?

(sounds like "KKK" to me... )

Exactly.

In that situation, #1: 99 times out of 100, the white guy will tell his mother to f off (which the Korean man will do 1 time out of 100), and #2: anyone who heard that story would see the man's mother is a racist, while the Korean mother is "understood" as merely trying to "preserve her culture". Frickin' hypocritical.

People like this Luvada or whatever her name is do not realize how far they set things back by participating in the perpetuation of racism and sexism solely for the sake of their own "look, Mom, I'm on teevee!" self-gratification.

This kinda reminds me of that "Beautiful women" show they have on TV here. About 20 foreign chiquitas going on about how great Korea and Korean men are.

Could you ever imagine Korean broadcasters doing a show with 20 or so foreign men doing the same thing.

But what can you do except laugh and remind yourself "hey, it's korea. so many people so full of insecurity and ignorance, let them play their little games and boost their sad little egos"

It reminds you of that because those bitches quoted in the article are on that show.

And of course, you're right.

above poster quoted the post about the show.

They want to be famous and make money. There is an idiotic t.v show that shows only foreign women in Korea. It is the most kiss-butt crap I have ever watched. Questions that only show how wonderful and excellent Korea and Korean men are... there are two Canadian girls on the show. They must be the most pathetic part of the show. They look like they would crawl on broken glass covered in human dung to get a chun won...I mean it. They couldn't make me more embarrassed.

--and yes..I am Canadian.

You know, now that I think of it, these girls are like a hot girl version of Yankov Smirnoff... except without jokes. Nothing like importing a syncophantic foreigner to build up the ol' national ego.
