Has anyone every organised their E2 visa in the Philippines?
I'm going on vacation there next week and im also in the process of changing schools. It would be very convenient and cheaper if I could get it done in Manila while I was there rather than go on another trip to Japan.
If anyone has any experience of this i'd love to hear about it.

There are a bunch of alternate visa run destination threads in the travel forum, did you check there? |

Yes I've done that a few times. The Korean consulate is in Makati. No problems, however, just make sure there isn't some big push for overseas workers or you'll be waiting for a while. Suggest you show up and if there is a full house just come back later.
I used to drop off the paperwork and pick it up a week later. I don't remember exactly what the waiting time is, but I believe it is 24 hours. |
