Here is my debacle.
There are 4 teachers in the school. I am the only foreign teacher and I must teach each class once a week and one class twice a week. Between the 4 teachers, each student must have 3 teachers. Not a big deal.
The thing is the classrooms. How can we arrange it so that only 2 teachers have to switch classrooms depending on the level?
My initial suggestion was, have the students change to a new class room each day. This idea was shot down because a teacher said that it would be too difficult for the students to remember which classroom to go to. I said, it's not too difficult and we can help them. No, many mothers have complained that children have to use 2 classrooms already. So this idea was shot down.
Second suggestion, have the students stay in the same classroom and teachers switch. We can't do that the k-teacher said, we need to use the equipment in our classroom. So, you must figure out what to do with the other teacher.
So, I take X classes once a week and another teacher takes X classes once a week. Its a big mess. What to do? |
