I need a compression utility. Are there any free ones worth having? If not, please make a recommendation on one to buy.
Also have questions about Peer Guardian. Do I really need this is I'm using Limewire? Is it a RAM hog? |

For your compression utility, check out WinRar here:

As for Peer Guardian, I dunno anything about it. Best thing to do (IMO) is use a router and dont worry about quirky/ PITA software firewalls. |

windows comes with zip compression built in.
If you need something to open .rar files then go with winrar. |
