From the Wikipedia article on the American revolution:

Suppressing a rebellion in America also posed other problems. Since the colonies covered a large area and had not been united before the war, there was no central area of strategic importance. In Europe, the capture of a capital often meant the end of a war; in America, when the British seized cities such as New York and Philadelphia, the war continued unabated. Furthermore, the large size of the colonies meant that the British lacked the manpower to control them by force. Once any area had been occupied, troops had to be kept there or the Revolutionaries would regain control, and these troops were thus unavailable for further offensive operations. The British had sufficient troops to defeat the Americans on the battlefield but not enough to simultaneously occupy the colonies.

It reminds me that you're off wasting precious time on useless crap on the internet when you could be updating the Yangpa.

Seriously, it's been over a month now. You're getting lazy.

I thought that it reminded me of Iraq but then I tried to picture old Ben Franklin and George Washington telling their fellow country men to use gunpowder bombs to kill as many civillians as possible in order to establish a theocracy whereby people like thomas jefferson would be thrown in prison for cutting up the bible, and....well I just couldn't

Yes, the new revolution (civil war coming?) of America is coming which should had happend 20 years ago... Where the people fight for thier right to party!!! That is, to actually be free like they are in other developed nations rather than being opressed in fear. Now that sounds like a bleeding heart liberal thing to say, but it's true that America is broken and a revolution is in store for her and majorly over due. American culture is too money and high CEO social status focused rather than having good human values and rules that work for everyone.

"For the People, by the People" A good intention and vision the forefathers had, but it went sour in the latter 20th century. Dam Shame, becuase America was the greatest and still has potential to be the very best due to such enormous resources available.
