A while back we had a thread about anybody still thinking the war in Iraq was a good idea....on the other side maybe it would be fair to ask if anybody still supports human shields going to Iraq? I mean they were so bent on stopping war maybe they could help stop the current war? Also maybe we could see hundreds of thousands of people take to the street to protest the violence of suicide bombers that will more than likely take place in the next few days...... |

The good news is in Iraq attacks are down in frquency so far since the start of the crackdown.
As far as human shields, anyone foolish enough to try and defend a enemy's military assetts using themselves as a shield deserves to be destroyed along with said military target.
If theres a group of people for example, defending say some missile launching installation being used against US forces with their own bodies, personally the shields being there would not prevent me from destroying said facility. |

Human shields are only after stopping the US military and that's it. I've actually read a middle east expert (a prof from U of C Irvine) Lamenting the fact that they could not protest against the US military in Iraq because there was too much violence on the part of the Jihadi's.....It's got to be terrible if you want to protest for peace against the US but you can't because muslim zealots will kill you..... |
