The poster in that thread that said a driver's license should be required is an idiot. If they are worried about suspended license, a simple crimal background check will show that. Someone from New York or London that had no need for a car and doesn't have a license shouldn't be discriminated against.

Just read a few threads.

Lots of very resentful Asians out there, it seems.

All their post generally reflect Missseoul's idea that all westerners teaching ESL are uneducated, skirt chasing losers who couldn;t get jobs in their home countries. Lots of slagging off western education system and values etc. Pretty vehemant a lot of the posters, makes missseoul seem like an ESL teacher sympathiser....

This attitude reminds me of uninformed Americans worried about Hispanics taking away their jobs in the USA and "ruining the USA." Go racism!

That site takes the garbage we have at this one and exponentiates it to the nth degree. But I came to realize for the few days I went there that most of them are probably just stupid teens, whom will hopefully grow out of the massive stupidity shown on that site.

Captain Corea is on that site frequently. He takes a lot of crap for being a whitey in the Asian man's world, stealing those Asian women for himself...

It's really a hate-fille site. Most of the threads go, typically, this way:

1. Someone starts a thread about pickles.

2. A troll from another asian country comes in and says that their country is better and that all people from that country are evil.

3. Someone calles someone a "Japanophile" because they didn't want to change the Sea of Japan to the East Sea or because they don't give two farts about Dokdo.

4. 25 kids come in and post a bunch of elementary insults at said "Japanophile."

5. Captain Corea makes a non-offensive post that is usually clear and to-the-point.

6. Someone mentions that Captain Corea is white, and that he has no right to talk about anything Korean.

7. Someone remembers that the thread was about pickles.

8. Someone points out a flaw in the previous poster's post and points out the apparent racism on the board.

9. A flame war between a college-educated foreigner in Korea and a bunch of gyopo high-schoolers ensues.

10. The thread is closed.

Really, AF is nothing but a place for gyopos and other Asian expats to vent about how all white people all want Asian women (those are called "Asiaphiles"), people who don't despise the Japanese with every fiber of their being (Japanophiles) are the spawn of Satan, (insert East Asian country's name here) colonized and created (insert East Asian country's name here), and eating dog meat is great Korean tradition that whiteys shouldn't criticize.

It's really easy to get an account on that site. I try to get banned at least once every couple of months. Give her a whirl, and you'll see the fury of a thousand angry gyopos.

I'm not sure I'd even go over there to read anything if it's truly as bad as some are describing it. Kudos to Capt Corea for telling it like it is.

Ok, I am that idiot. I'd I'd like to call you on it.

I said a question about a valid drivers license because I've known quite a few people that came to Korea to "kill time" while waiting for thier suspension to pass. It's a trick I used in Canada when you're limited on the questions you can ask in an interview.

But that so much for calling me an idiot. You're now one of my favorites here Bibbitybop

/cheers

Off topic, but if anyone else follows this issue (I don't see a thread going on it right now), I happened to see several 18th century French maps of the Far-East a few days ago, the sea was labeled, MAR DE COREE, (SEA OF KOREA).
