|
|
School has started for most. For others it will soon enough. If this is your first time you're in for a helluva time. For those who have at least a year under your belt I'm sure you'll have some words of wisdom.
Questions? Information? Will be discussing issues concerning all things public school.
Will be having a luncheon on Sunday, the 15th of April.
All public school teachers welcome. RSVP

Depending on where it's held, I too would be interested in meeting other public school teachers. |

Me too as long as it doesn't turn into a "I hate my co-teacher, students, principal etc" complaint fest.

Remember what we're talking about here. Starting my 3rd year at one, and that post was more organized than anything else I've seen in a public school. Par for the course . |

I am up for this and I am sure a few of my PS teachers (who tend not to check this board often) would also come along. |

Is it high/middle/primary school or what. I won't come as things like this have huge potential to turn into biacth fests by older, bitter, burnt out "teachers" moaning about what i regard as trivial stuff. That said, have fun. |

It sounds like a good idea if it's organized well. In theory the best place to have it would be Seoul since it's the largest city and you'll probably get the most people in terms of attendance.
I'd go, but I'm on my way out of here. 11 weeks and counting.... |

Were you expecting a diagram?
If what you mean is there is no venue indicated that is because there are only a few places I know of that can accommodate a large number of people and I need to know how many would be interested to attend before I decide on a place. Makes a little more sense now, doesn't it?
And I'm open to suggestions of course.
Rawiri, that is not what I envision this to be either. I imagine there will be a number of complaints legitamite or otherwise. But by no mean is this a hate-fest. I am organizing this luncheon so PS teachers can get information and support from one another.
Since we (most of us) are the only native english speakers at the school we are isolated from others in the same lot and need some sort of resource in which we can feel free to share our experiences.
Having come to that simple conclusion this get together was something I believed would be a good solution.
Say "ai" if you agree. |
