send money home. Anyone know? I've heard of some guys here and there using Paypal successfully. The posts on this board said it wasn't good, ended up costing more than the transfer fees. I am wasting so much money on wiring fees, as I send money home very often.
Any new ideas or schemes brewing out there? I'm all ears.

I heard that Pusan Bank has a new account specifically for foreigners. No charge on remittances and the option to pre-schedule automatic transfers. If you live in Busan, try this out.

Just a theory, but couldn't you just open a Citibank account, then have someone you wire money to at home open up a citibank account too. Then transfer money that way?

I know with bank of America, electronic funds transfer between other BoA customers is free. Does it work that way with Citibank too?
