Dropped him pretty hard, eh?
Man, a professional boxer would wipe the floor with these guys if it were just about standing there and punching like this was. |

| I'd say it's because of the many options in a MMA fight that sometimes at the start they spend a lot of time feeling each other out before attacking. Mo had to be wary of the other's guy's grappling, and of course Min Su Kim has to keep distance. Mighty Mo sure did unleash when he felt he had the opportunity. |

Yeah but K1 is straight out kickboxing. MMA stuff like pride/UFC is much different. |

it was a K-1 Hero's match though, which follows MMA rules. |

Somebody recent, please? And somebody we've even heard of?
I did find this about that guy, "December 9, 1995 September 7, 19963 Francois Botha IBF
A drug test following Botha's victory over Axel Schulz for the IBF title vacated by George Foreman revealed that he had used illegal anabolic steroids. Upon the discovery the IBF "vacated" its championship. The organization has subsequently erased the episode from its own written history, not listing Botha among its recognized champions. "
So this Botha guy was some stiff matched up against another stiff after Foreman "vacated" his title. And Botha was found to have been on drugs.
This was all over 10 years ago, mind you.

Interesting to see recent heavyweight champions seem to be from Europe and Russia. |

Mighty Mo has the makings of a good professional boxer. He has a hell of a punch and if they could work on his conditioning to go 10-12 rounds then he would do well. Frans Botha was slightly past his prime but no-one had KO'd Botha in a round since his amateur days and that was against Corrie Sanders so it was a good legitimate win for Mighty Mo.
The Samoans could take over the boxing world if enough of them took up the sport but they are just too damn nice! |

Of course they have the three knockdown rule in effect. Botha kept getting up at the count of four.
Mo does have a good overhand right though. |
