I think the title is pretty self explanatory, Im looking for Jeans. Im used to wearing Levi's 527s back home and was looking for jeans like that. When I went into the Levi's store here though.... it was like another country. I didnt recognize any of the stuff, and Im pretty sure the mens and womens clothes were interchangable. So anyone know where jeans for men are? To be more specific boot cut jeans for a 34x32 american male, who doesnt spend more than 40 bucks on jeans. Im not asian or have an eating disorder, slim jeans (which are all I find) do not work on me.

I know I've seen the Levis you're talking about at Namdaemun market. They get them from the bases and resell them. 50-60 bucks I think, but you can negotiate the price. Of course I could be wrong and they could be fakes. I used to know of a street near Karak Market 10 years ago that had a good levis store, but I don't even know if they exist now because everything changes.

Now for my question:

And I'm looking for American style blazers. We have basic colors and cuts back home - colors come in Spruce, Burgandy, Navy and black. 100% wool. If anyone knows where to buy this specific style, I'd appreciate any advice. I already have a couple of blazers (Navy blue, Charcoal and herringbone) but am looking to buy a Black and Spruce asap.

its the state of fashion right now...skinny jeans are in. My friends all shop at Shane Jeans. You might find they have the cut your looking for. Tend to be a little pricy ar 70-80,000 a pop

Costco were selling 501's just recently for 30,000. Don't know if they still are but I sure as hell grabbed a pair!

Thanks for the skinny on the jeans, I think Ill definetly check out namdaemun (I hear its a cool place anyways) as for your question about blazers--- Ive been looking everywhere too! Im a size 40R, and most of the time if I ever find my size its in some pretty ugly stuff. Although I did have pretty good luck at Shinsegae, it was about 300,000-500,000W per but they were more american style and good quality and they fit. Im just too cheap to pony up the dough, but Im sure after a few more weeks of searching Ill just give up and spend it. Im gonna try Itaewon this weekend, Ill let you know about the results.

As far as size go, Im not the smallest guy around but Im a 34in waist at 6'. Maybe you were think cm, cause in the states 34-36in waist is roughly average.

Did you notice the link I gave in my post? The prices for those 100% wool blazers are about 124 bucks, and the other link to the Hopsack-Weave blends are about 100 bucks. I called my mom this morning after this thread started and she's sending me the black blazer this month. I'll work on the other colors starting in April.

Europe 2 Seoul, I also work in a high tech enviornment with engineers and I could wear jeans and Tshirts if I wanted to, but I prefer to wear suits and blazers M-Th and jeans on Fridays.

It has always blown my mind about Korean prices for clothing. You'd think that since they produce so many clothes (and copies) in this country that clothes would be cheaper, but noooo it's never going to happen. Prices for name brands like levis have to be high. Why is that?

How about Levi's (501) or other jeans that are size 36? Are medium size shirts sized differently in Korea than in Canada or the US?
