|
|
Hi all,
I lost the ball off of mine, and have had little luck so far in finding a place that sells them. I have been looked at like I am a bit freaky when I ask for them in the shops. I searched Dave's, and came up with a posting from 2005. Anyone have any more current info? I live in Seosan/Dangjin area, but travel to Seoul often enough.
Thanks!

I'm not sure where you're at geographically, but there is a nice little piercing shop in Daegu just around the corner from Gypsy Rock (club) downtown. If Daegu is anywhere even remotely close I can try to give you more of a sense of direction. |

Crow piercing is great......they got everything imaginable. Its in Hongdae.....
um not sure which bar its across from....if you get dropped off at starbucks on the same street at Hongik University, go across the street until you hit a park. Walk through the park towards the street with alot of bars that runs along the park. Walk straight about a block (past a few hair shops and smaller restaurants and some bars) and on your right is Crow Piercing....if you pass an intersection of shops you've gone too far. Its pretty much right before that intersection. (intersection doesn't have lights) |

|
|
I am posting an answer to my own question, in hopes that it will help others...
I was in Songtan on the weekend, and found barbells everywhere! They ranged from 3,000 each to 8,000 for surgical steel, and at "Shine" jewelry store, I ordered a white gold (14K) for 30,000. (They had yellow in stock)
the surgical steel ones:
a) with back to Airforce base entrance, go right. You'll come to a small store with swords and jewelry in the window. This is where I got the one for 8,000. They had a lot to choose from. If you pass an exercise store, you've gone too far.
b)with back to Airforce base entrance, go straight on the main strip. Stay on the right side. There is a jewlery store a couple blocks down that had a couple of steel ones (3,000). The stores on the left in the first couple of blocks either didn't have any, or only had yellow gold.
White gold:
with back to Airforce base entrance, go up the left side of the strip. You will get close to the other end. It is called "Shine." On the other side of the street, just past it, is the face shop. The outside is blue, if I remember correctly.
Hope this helps at least one person out there!!!
