I think I have broken my computer and hope someone could help me with how to fix it. I was using my computer the other day when I tipped over the table the computer was on. It took a bit of a fall but continued working. The computer worked a few more times, but now when I try to turn it on I see a screen that says it is unable to boot because no hard drive is detected. Does this message mean my computer is dead? If I buy a new hard drive would that fix it? Is yongsan the best place for picking up a new hard drive?

My computer is a dell inspiron 8200 if that helps. Thanks for all the help, and any information is much appreciated.

It could be a dead HDD or just a loose cable. Your local computer shop can fix you up.

IF you do want/need a replacement HDD it will be less than 100k for a 250-300gig HDD and installation.
(confirm the price BEFORE you agree to the work).

If you feel confident in your own abilities, I would open the case and see if any of the cables to hard drive came loose during the tumble. If you are not so confident in your own abilities, maybe you know someone who is somewhat computer savvy to have a look inside the case for you....
