|

If you're ordering from Amazon.com, do all sellers ship out of the US? Or, does only Amazon company send out out different countries.
Also, has anyone had any trouble trying to order books to Korea?
Thanks! |

depends on the seller if you're buying from marketplace.
Amazon.com themselves do ship all over the world.
Ordered a book from a marketplace seller, got here in 2 weeks, no probs. |

Thanks! SOrry, may be a foolish question but:
Did you write the address in romanized Korean? |

i've got loads books cds through amazon sometimes if its a big book i.e art etc the seller won't send it (if its marketplace) as it not worth it for them because of the prohibitive postage. in one such case a book was sent economy took about six weeks otherwise its usually around ten days
the address is in english |

If you have a friend in the US army I heard you can get it delivered to an army base for the same mailing cost as if it was on the US mainland.
That's why I hang out on Hooker Hill all the time.
Honest. |

Here's a tip.
If you want to order from Amazon and want to save money, check the prices on both Amazon.com and the Canadian site Amazon.ca. Sometimes Amazon.ca has cheaper prices and you can save money because of the lower Canadian dollar. |

But Canada post is horribly expensive!
Not to mention prices of books. We wanted to buy a bunch of books before we came and checked out the prices at What the Book. Even with the exchange rate and mark-up it was cheaper to order them in Korea with the added shipping costs than to buy them directly from the store in Canada. |

Doesn't amazon.jp ship to Korea for like 2000 yen? They have books and CDs in English. |

It really depends on the item. Generally, I have found that dvds are almost always cheaper on the Canadian site than the American site. (but make sure if you order dvds from U.S.A. / Canada that your dvd player here can play region 1 dvds)
All I am saying is, go to both sites and compare prices. It's the same company, but oddly enough sometimes the Canadian site is cheaper. |
