Hello - my husband and I wanted to work for a public school but it looks like it's too late for that...especially because we don't want to go to Korea til August. So, what are some great hagwons on the southern coast?
If you need to know some of our detailed preferences, they are:
Fairly small town - 50,000-200,000 maybe
The standard airfare paid, 50% health insur. paid, severance paid
Nice, fully-furnished apartment with AC, within a 15 min. walk of the school
5 sick days
10-14 days paid vacation
Great boss and co-workers (or at least fairly easy to get along with)
No telephone teaching
No penalty fees in the contract
No more than 5-6 classes a day
No Saturday workshops unless we get overtime pay
No more than 9 hour spent at the school per day
Nothing crazy! lol
is this too much to ask for?? |

sounds like my last job on Geoje and my present job
in August you wanna start?
i'll keep my eyes and ears open for you but positions don't open that far ahead of time, will know better by, say... July! or mid-June
and public schools do another wave of hiring in september for the post-summer vacation half of the year, and there are plenty of opportunities here in the southernmost areas |

Not necessarily. I am still getting emails from recruiters regarding public school positions. |
