Holy shit!

I'm just channel surfing and these two guys are just beating the crap out of each other. I think I might have found my new favorite show!

Basically for those who don't know about Cheaters or this show, the premise is that a guy or girl thinks their significant other is cheating. The show follows the possible cheater around and takes pictures and photos. They take the evidence to their client and then there's some big confrontation.

It's amusing because I remember a while back my Korean coworkers asking me about Jerry Springer and Cheaters. They were like, "That can't be real!" and "That would NEVER happen in Korea!" Lo and behold Korea has it's own version!

Anyone else seen this show? It's on some channel I just recently got on my cable plan TVN.

Man you could make a hell of a drinking game with that show. Every time you hear gaesaeki it's one shot of soj. Every time someone draws out a word in that whiney ass tone, one shot of soj. Two shots if you hear the winning combo: shibal gaesaeki! Three shots for sshang!!

It's not real. All the scenes are staged. There are disclaimers throughout the show. They claim it's based on real incidents, but even that's in doubt.

Last time I watched Cheaters the camera caught two guys holding up cue-cards just as my buddy was saying he didn't believe me when I said the show was fake.

Damn...Both shows are fake? Damn it....My faith in the reality of reality TV has been shaken.

That show still is funny. I get to practice listening and reading Korean. They use those chipmunk voices so I have no choice but to either listen carefully or read the subtitles...

It is faked to some degree but i tell you what, my mind is in doubt sometimes as some of those fights look pretty real.....

Anyway, some good stories even if it isn't true......

Ha! I saw that too.

I felt really bad for the (actor playing) the guy who got cuckolded. He had every right to throw down on the pretty boy, but he got his ass whupped instead. In the end he just laid in the snow, crying...

It's like, where's the justice? That's what we got TV for: To see the universal balance that just isn't there.

I bet you were surprised to learn that there wasn't a Santa Claus or that Star Wars was just a movie... Laughing

More lame-ass copycatting, *yawn*.

What this country needs is a show that pays homage to local customs & traditions. Instead of a K-ripoff of Cheaters, I demand to see a domestically produced show called Beaters. They could get a year's worth of episodes out of just ONE apartment building where I used to live.

Geez, if they wanted a real show, why not just stand outside a love motel?

But the real kicker is when i learned both the tooth fairy and easter bunny were not real on the same day......

Have you even watched the show...
In the first episode last week the guy did a running kick and bowled him over....full contact and no stunt style about it. the actors are sure getting their paychecks.
