Global Priority Mail envelopes seem like a good way to get stuff here in less than a week for under $10, even with the four pound weight limit. Has anyone had successes/failures/disappearances shipping stuff this way?

Wow. I wish I would've known this. I paid $70 USD to FedEx documents to Korea in 3 days.

I'm waiting for a Global Priority package right now. I'll let you know how it goes.

I sent a package about the size of a shoebox through the post office Priority Express or whatever it's called, and it got to the United States within 4 days. It cost me about 30 bucks.

I've used the Global Priority envelopes about ten times or so. It worked great every time. They're as good a deal as they look! Clothes, books, etc. Just nothing fragile that needs to be packed carefully.

They're especially good for family members who want to send care packages but don't want to spend a fortune on shipping. I've got a few where someone just got an envelope, stuffed as much junk food inside as they could, and sent it.

My family uses these all the time. There's 4 envelope/box choices, but you might not find all of those available at your local post office. So you can order them online for free at http://www.usps.com

Once your family ships a package to you, it really does get here in 7-10 days.

Flat-Rate Envelope

Small $5.25
Large $9.50

Weight Limit: 4 pounds

Variable Weight Option

Weight Levels and Prices

3.0 lbs. 25.25
3.5 lbs. 29.50

I wholly support and suggest going that route. It will take 3-4 days longer for a fraction of the price.
