I'm trying to format my c: drive, but it keeps saying that it can't do it & to close all the applications & stuff.
Problem is... nothings open. What do I do? |

| You can't format C: from within Windows. Use the CD to boot (into the BIOS, look for "startup devices" or "boot priority" and change the first to CD-ROM) then go through to the recovery console and format from there. |

OK.. thanks.

Guess I'm gonna have to go out & find the CD's. (would be a lot easier if I lived in Seoul! ) |

| I hate to ask this, but what were you going to after formatting C: with no Windows CD? I mean...you have no OS to install, unless you are going Linux or something. |
