Don't really know that area. Is it nice to live or work down there? Are there good shopping places? Social activity?
Thanks. |

the further you get from seoul on line 1, the newer and nicer bucheon gets. Bucheon station is rather blah, but the stuff around Songnae is a bit better.
Bucheon has all the big chain stores and restaurants. It isn't an exceptional place but it is decent. |

Decent social activity here. Probably a couple hundred foreigners in the city with one foreigner bar(Canada Buddy near City Hall). Not too far from Itaewon or Hongdae. I live around Bucheon Station, which is lively but the Songnae is also pretty good. |

There's another bar that is frequented by a lot of foreigners, for those who have taken a non-liking to Canada Buddy.
I also live near Bucheon station. The south part is old and run down, but cheap and somewhat quiet. The north part is a university area, and it is not a good place to live at all. Unless you go further north of the university.

I live near Songnae Station and it's not bad; though it seems like all the "foreigner" hang outs are closer to City Hall. |

It's called 'Hae juk' or 해적 (pirate)
It's close to the Hyundai Department Store. From the middle of the Hyundai and 'The Mall'. Walk away from the main road, and you will see it within 3 minutes. It's on the 3rd floor, and has a picture of a pirate.
