I think this is a more telling question than the one about the war. This shows if people really care about the Iraqis or if they just want to see Americans die.

Whoa 50/50, could it be true someone would want that, or is it someone who just thinks this poll is total bollocks and designed only to play a Bushie card and scare people?

OH, you are a sad, sad individual. I can only feel sorrow when I think of what it must be like to dwell in anger, jealousy, and hatred every minute of every day.

Actually I don't do any of those emotions. You would find me to be a calm and content individual. As for jealous, I have two BF's so I am totally unable to be jealous.

Voted "no". Hell, I'm still upset about 9/11, which is one of the many reasons why I find those 'Truth Movement' idiots so offensive.

I think a better question would be why would some person or group want to detonate a a nuc in NYC or any other city? It's not really a poll question, just a question.

Men, women children who dont even know the first thing about politics..the loss of life and tragedy would be huge!!!! I would not even post any condolences.

Dislike the president. its your right. Fine what ever good. Post nutty conspiracy theories..cool, what ever floats your boat,

I'd be pretty sure that the two votes are just contrarians who are trying to wind people up. Given that OH reckons he'd be prepared to murder children for political purposes though, I can see how you might take his vote seriously in this context.

Well I'm choosing not to vote because the poll and the question itself is rediculous. Why would you assume people would want to see Americans dead. Because they disagree with your political opinion. This thread is a below the belt slam of America. How about we stop using fear to push an agenda? How about we stop using 9/11 as a means to push an agenda?

You know, in fairness to pligganease, I don't think the spirit of the thread was intended to be "if you don't toe the line in the War on Terror the US is going to get nuked". Instead it looks to me like a response to Octavius Hite saying that he hopes that the US loses in Iraq just so they'll get taken down a peg - which is a position with some pretty disgusting implications, if you ask me.

But yes, I agree that it does feel stupid voting in the poll. I almost didn't, but then I thought 'ah, why not'. I mean, I really, really, really, really hope that nowhere ever gets nuked again, so nothing wrong with being honest about it. (actually, I also considered voting 'yes' just to skew the results and show that the poll was silly, but then I thought some people might actually take it seriously)

Dude, you need to get real.

This is not fear mongering at all. This is a simple question to see the douchebags here that care nothing for the causes they claim to care about but only like to see the U.S. suffer.

I never said that everyone who disagrees with my opinion wants to see Americans dead. i asked people "Would you like to see Americans dead?"

You said you didn't vote. Does that mean you're indifferent? Does that mean you don't care whether a nuke goes off in the U.S.?

I don't see what the big deal is. Why protest against the poll? It's a simple question with two answers. I consider it a litmus test for dumbassity.

Why is the poll silly? While it might be obvious to rational people that a nuke would be bad, and rational people should all hope that another nuke never goes off, you and I both know that there are some people on this board that wake up every morning and turn to CNN to see if it has happened yet, and are disappointed to find out it hasn't.
