I am moving to the Sanbon area in Gunpo next week and looking for a place to study korean. Does anybody know of something? I'm especially interested in serious classes - the type you take at a university and get a certificate for afterwards. Please let me know if you have information about anything within 30 minutes travelling distance. |

Hello,
If you work evenings then there is a free class in the afternoon at Beomgye. Most of the local universities run classes but they've already started so you can't join. Also, I found the universities/colleges often don't have enough enrollment and end up cancelling their classes.
What level are you? I'll send you a pm about something else. |

I live in Bucheon, and there are almost no programs here.
I just go into 숙대 in the mornings (near Seoul Station) and take classes there. It's about 30 minutes.
If you are on the light blue line, 숙대 is not too far. |

The women's center across from Hanyang Plaza -- just two blocks north of Beomgye Station exit 4 -- has some free classes, mainly attended by Southeast Asians who married Korean men. |

crazy_arcade: Unfortunately I work in the afternoons, so won't be able to make the free class. My hangul's not that great at all. I can read and write the alphabet and know a few phrases, but that's about it. I tried to teach myself, but self-dicipline is not my strong point
Ilsanman: do you have some information about this place in Sukdea? Maybe a website or something?
Thanks a lot guys |

Take the free classes at Beomgye then. It'll fit your schedule perfectly. |
