| For me, Halloween is still the best (original). I have to admit, I just saw the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it scared the crap out of me. |

I love scary movies, but they rarely scare me. I think they're campy fun. However, the two movies that really get to me are Audition and Lost Highway.
And when I was a little kid, the scene in Poltergeist where the meat starts crawling across the kitchen counter and then the guy peels off his face pretty much ruined my childhood. |

House of Wax (the original!)...eerie
Jaws... wouldn't go swimming the rest of the summer
Night of the Living Dead (the original)... spooky atmosphere
Halloween (the first one)... hated the dark and being left alone with the babysitter
The Shining... being isolated in such places like that still creeps me out
The Cabinet of Dr.Caligari... not scary, but cool nonetheless |

Lost Highway was another scary movie.
Especially scary were the scenes with the videos of people inside Jeff Daniel's house, (based on a true story),and the parents telling the young man about events he didn't remember.

| Also seriously scary: the scene in Disney's Pinocchio were all of the little boys turn into donkeys and are sent to the salt mines. |

In that case, the "Wizard of Oz" was scary. I was about six years old, and THEN I found out that I had one more thing to worry about- EVIL FLYING MONKEYS!

First of all the OP is the same idiot who stated he pulled a runner, then turned around and stated 85% of ESL Teachers are losers. Why people would give him the time of day by replying to his posts just doesn't make sense.
Second, if the op knew what the hell he was doing in using this forum, this is off topic not about Korea. He's just posted threads to get his self attention. |

| Lost Highway was not at all scary, a bit creepy in parts, perhaps. Eraserhead much more so. |

Alien
Aliens (Sigourney Weaver)
Wasn't impressed with the final.
I loved "the Shining", too, but the book was even better. |
