Yes, I thought this was over also. I was meaning to post some more pictures, but never got around to doing it and realized the December date passed by. Does that mean that it's still open to add more pictures?

Yup, you should be able to upload more, though they won't be considered for judging. Keep to the 16 limit and you're ok.

Not only that, it's even technically possible to send a new picture (or even old one) right into the "finalists" album.
But please don't.

I am curious as to how the finalists were picked. It would appear that it is perhaps the "best" of each participant. Not sure if that's a good idea.

The method used was completely haphazard and would not stand up to close scrutiny. Or any. It had all the validity of a Korean university freshman English exam.

I went by ratings - totally unscientific - and image views - again, totally unscientific. Oh, and in a couple of cases, I cooked the books so newer uploads would have more of a chance.

But you know, considering the prize is essentially nothing, and it's all in fun, so what? Smile I can't say it's any more arbitrary than it was three years ago. They're a great collection of images.

It couldn't be stated more concisely.

Me. The cake was awesome.

Actually, I'm letting the thing collect clicks and votes - no hurry really. I'm inclined to take into consideration the clicks that photos accumulated before I reset them to zero... but then, maybe not. I'd like to see more votes in general over on the International side.

Seems ok (Saturday evening, 10pm).. it may have been down. We're not talking big-budget hosting here.
