Yeah, the third season was the worst. It just kind of seemed like gave up on trying to make it work.
Disagree COMPLETELY. The "Michael's courting a ****" [no spoiler...sigh] idea was great...her eating the plastic fruit...great!

Gob was my favorite.
Other favs?

1) "Illusions Michael. Tricks are something whores do for money"
2) Chicken dances...good lord watching Gob and Lindsay's chicken dance...by gum, that was probably the funniest stuff on television ever!
3) About 10 seconds after gaj's
Quote:

Here's a clip of one of the funniest segments of the show, where Gob can't think of anything to say and starts going shdshd ssshhhs shhhhshsshhh and Michael shooshes him.
where Gob starts with "well not too much fun. I already gave my big sexual harrasment speech today".
cutting to the office, huddled around Gob with him saying something like
"And I don't want to see any [beep]king or [beep]king or [beeep] or [beeeeeeep]lasting even though so many of you are BEGGING FOR IT!"....that whole speech was hilarious.
And if ANYONE hits on my sister lindsay...I'm gonna take off my pants...I'm gonna shave my [beeep]...and I'm gonna personally [beeeeeeeping]
4)Hands down, favorite episode anywhere of all time? Not just in AD but in Television's history?
Without a doubt, third season, "Tobias is a Mole" with the Japanese investors. Besides being outstandingly clever and funny, it was surprising and ingenious the way they ended up tying it together.
Unbelievable that show.
5) "You're high!" "You're drunk!"
6) Lucille "Who am I going to find who wants to go in that musty old claptrap..."
michael ".....the cabin...yes...well"

I bought season 3 on DVD. I had season 2 on my harddrive but I had to erase it.

I loved the chicken dances. So many good moments on that show. I haven't seen much from the 3rd season. If there was only one show I could watch for the rest of my life it would have to be that show. It works on so many levels.

The best thing about that show is you can watch it again and again and always find some new joke.

Favorite episode: Sword of DESTINY!

In the shop "Ancient Chinese Secret":

GOB: I need something to give my dingle less tingle. Me quick want slow . No that's indian

Shopkeeper (to assistant): Tea for dong!

GOB: Hey, sweet blade!

SK: It's the Sword of Destiny. It comes with an ancient warning..

GOB: Yeah yeah, I make up my own patter. Just ring it up with the dong tea.

Later, on stage performing the Sword of Destiny illusion:

Buster (to GOB): Hand me the trick sword please!

GOB: It's a real sword... master.

Obviously you haven't watched the show, otherwise you would have known that was not the appropriate response.

Either Mr. Action doesn't know how to read subtitles or he was making an AD-style joke..

Yet, Anyong's real name is something approximating "hello". I always wondered about that, what the hell were they trying to say. "Haru"? What?

Yeah I didn't like that part of the show, really. The worst scene of all the episodes is when they walk into the Korean restaurant and the staff all yell out Anyong! Maybe it's funny if you don't know about Korean, but I hate it when shows play fast and loose with foreign language. If Family Guy can get it right, any show can, I think..

Well, I have never seen the program, but after reading through this thread, I got the whole lot (3 seasons, yes?) last night. I watched just a bit this morning...it looks good.

Thanks for the tip folks.
