Hello,

Can anyone tell me where Canon Powershot cameras are sold? I have searched large stores like Emart and HomePlus and several small shops with no luck. I like the Powershot cameras that run on AA batteries such as an A630.

I saw Powershot cameras when I was shopping for my IXUS800 IS down in the Nampo-dong area of Busan... there were several shops that had Powershot camers iirc.

I ended up getting a very nice Nikon CoolPix S10 VR camera at a HomePlus. It was 338,000 Won, but it came with a 1 Gig SD card and a nice travel case that fits on your belt, battery, and a duel voltage charger. Not any more expensive for the outfit than it would be in the states when researching it online. Maybe about $30 to $50 more than it could be bought on eBay, but hey, I am in South Korea right now and I love my new camera to document my travels. It's 10X optical zoom with autofocus is absolutely amazing...
