As much as you guys want to charge, someone may as well spring for an Xbox 360.

That is so Wonjangnim style. Incredibly poor use of logic. It will take hours to do it yourself. For an extra 100,000, all the games you would ever need come with it. You can make 100,000 in a couple of hours and spend the extra 98 hours playing. I guess some people would rather waste time that utilize money wisely. Like a said, so wonjangnimish.

Haha, so you sit at the computer and watch it download? If not, it is hardly wasting time.

It takes time to search, burn, organize the games you want. Sure, you can download a bunch of crap games, but what's the purpose???

i think the point is that there are a jizz load of people that dont know how to download the games and they would rather pay 100 dollars extra to just have the modded system with the games already on it, but id rather learn to download games my self and but a new system

300,000 for an xbox? I fully understand what you mean about the time and problems that go along with searching, downloading and burning games successfully. However, even with a hundred games (75 of which I prob. wouldn't care to play and the other 25 would provide me with at least one year worth of gaming entertainment) its not worth that much. That being said, I gotta handed to you for setting the price real high and then having the patience to wait for a sucker to come by and buy it.

To put your price into perspective, I just got an Xbox360 premium edition with 11 legit games for exactly 300,000. Now, in time when they come out with a good chip for it I will get it modded and then trade in the 7 of the 11 games I don't want for copies. Each one will fetch me two copies and then, taking my sweet time, I will simply download the games that I want and play them.

I believe the going rate for a fully loaded modded XBOX is about 200. I'm talkin about one that comes fully loaded with a 190GB hard drive, games, and software to boot. So that's about 80 for the console itself and 80 for the harddrive upgrade, and 40 for all the games and software that come with it, preinstalled.
Wonjangnim or no wonjangnim, that's a great deal.

But the problem is, he was asking 300,000 for it -- not 200,000.

That is not a great deal.

I also gave the buyer over 200 + dvd movies , actually come to think of it.. i would say more like 300 + movies as an added incentive..

But here is something u people dont know.. I was happy at 200.. I had two guys offer me that price and then a few more pm'd me and it went from there. i just bounced the prices off of each potential buyer and the price eventually got up to 300,000.

So i wasnt ripping anyone off.. One person offered 200 and then another offered 225, 250, 275, 300.. Actually the final buyer offered 315,000 but i knocked it down to 300 because he was travelling a long distance to pick it up.

I hope i put this matter to rest..

TML1976 :

Where did u buy that xbox 360 with 11 legit games for 300,000? I saw gears of war in youngsan on display.. that game is awesome.. in fact i want to buy the 360.. funny thing , before i had my xbox i rarely played it.. and now since its gone , its all i think about.. lol.

One other thing TML1976, there are a couple mod chips available for the 360 but if you want or if you know how, you can change the firmware on the dvd drive in the xbox 360. U will need a computer to do this and it only takes a couple of hours at most. Basically your tricking the dvd player in the 360 to think it sees a retail legit game, but in fact its just a copy. I can send you all the info on how to do this or u can just "google" to find the info.

gsxr750:

In my original post i didnt say how much i wanted for the xbox , but rather i wanted half the price of what a 360 would cost ( thats about 150,00) However in THIS thread I said "I felt my xbox was worth 300,000 and thats what i got for it.. Initially, I didnt expect to get 300,000 even though i felt it was worth that much to me because of all the hours i spent downloading and burning those games off.. it took a long time.. no need to explain that. But in the end i got what I valued it at.. and the buyer felt he got value for his money.. So we are both happy.

ARE U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now please lets put this issue to rest.. I have nothing else to say, except there might be a few spelling errors in this post because um too damn tired and couldnt care less..

cheers

Gideon

Someone on Dave's was selling it 2-3 weeks ago for 350 obo and I got him down to 300.

Could you send me the info and maybe a link or two on the web. I'm interested to learn how.

Thanks

hanguker

This post is actually quite relevant and informative, specially for those who are looking to buy an xbox, they can read this and get a good idea of how much they go for.

I was a bidder, and while you didn't "rip anyone off" you certainly screwed around. Agreeing to one price, then stil ltaking offers when people started pm'ing you. Very untrustworthy. Pretty unwelcome behaviour in NZ imo.

Your right about one thing, you were in fact a BIDDER. Thats the whole point.. u made a bid and someone else offered me more.. what would u have done?

I do apoligize if i caused u any undue hardship..

cheers

First you will need to be a member of this site first.. after u get signed up and accepted copy and past this link and it will take you to Flashing + Backing Up Tutorial

Read the link very carefully because there is a chance you can mess up your xbox 360 if you dont follow all the instructions.

cheers

Yongsan xbox 360 prices:

210,000 xbox 360 core system

300,000 xbox 360 premium system

New games 40 - 50,000

Used 20 - 30,000

Those are the prices I've found after shopping around.

Anyone find cheaper?

fyi - at present they do not mod the xbox 360s.. i reckon by late summer they will have modded xbox 360s.

Are there any mod chips available for the xbox 360?

Yes, check out :

The most important thing to know before modding your xbox 360 depends on the model of the dvd player (Hitachi, LG, Samsung or Toshiba)

no they do mod them, but all they do is Flash the dos or something, anywyas it can play copied games which is all i care about for now, id like to be able to put a huge harddrive in the 360 like the reg xbox modded ones though i dont know much about modding enough to do that myself so id have to just pay someone to do it

let me know if anyone hears anything about that
