might bring my dog back and im wondering how much hassle is involved

If you pack it in dry-ice it should keep for the plane ride over, but you may need to check with the airlines now that they are all weird about liquids and other substances.

it costs a shitload. Its not the regular baggage price as the animal needs to be keps in a spacial area.

Depends on the weight of your dog. Our dog weighs about 22kg, and she cost about 300,000 if my memory serves me correctly.

Not a big hassle.

Call your airline and ask. Or do an internet search for info on price and quarantine info.

There is no quarentine for dogs going to Canada. I took Indy home last year to Vancouver and all he needed was his rabies shot. He weighs about 15kg and had to be put in the cargo hold of the aircraft. I flew with Korean Air and it was about 250,000 W each way. It's not cheap. You need to make a reservation with your airlines ahead of time to make sure they save room for your dog. If your dog is small enough to fit under the seat, some airlines allow them to travel in the cabin with you. Some don't. It's best to call the airline you are planning to travel with and ask what their policy is. Hope this helps. PM me if you want to ask anything further.
