Any chance of a shot of it in your hand to give us an idea of how big it is (the MP3 player not your hand)

Laughing These gadgets are why I'd probably not be able to save any money in Korea.

I never knew what I was missing until I had dual monitors (two 20" widescreens at 16x10 resolution)...now I feel crippled when I'm at the office.

I was a big fan of iRiver devices when they came out with their H300 series. But they let the top end of the market go.

My battery died a while ago, and 20Gb was no longer enough. I looked long and hard at the iAudio X5 but finally settled on a 60Gb iPod but using Rockbox instead of the standard firmware.

I'm still gonna give the IStation V43 a try one of these days. I'm not sure which is the most popular PMP brand in Korea but the I-station is certainly on the top of the list.

I like the V43s look and features better but what do both have that the other one doesn't?

for an mp3 player? mine is only 1gb and it plays 12-14 hours of music. When the battery dies I changed my songs.

My hand isn't that big but the Cowon is definitely easier to hold than an iPod. Love the lyrics feature Very Happy

The V43 has been out longer (just as long as the Cowon A2) but it is more customisable because of its linux based OS built into it, you can have games and can view Office files. A2 is a straight media player with nothing else.

Not trying to ring the Cowon bell but take a look at the A3, the replacement for the A2.

Then there is the X7 not available yet :

There is also the Archos which I heard is the more popular PMP in Europe.

Unfortunately I've never seen this in Korea.

As for me, the next time I'm buying a PMP I want it to handle something like this :

Rock,

Are you still loving your D2? Thery have it at jetmall.net, the official Cowon online store, for $219.99. With shipping I'm looking at about $250. Do you know if I can do any better on the price?

Hi Rockgirl,

Not sure about the prices. Where are you located?

Here's what I found :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16855228008

for $189.

Or from Canada :

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=66108F&vpn=D2-4096WH&manufacture=COWON%20AMERICA%20INC

I'm loving the D2, having just bought a pair of headphones for it.

Do take a look at the player first before you buy it as it is not a typical mp3 player.

Right now, I'm downloading a whole lot of videos from youtube right into the D2, really easy Very Happy
