Ok, firstly, let's get a source on this "87% believe 9/11 was an inside job" figure. My guess is that it's from that CNN poll that you and Meegook were unable to interpret correctly. And funny how you're so keen to ignore scientific consensus in the engineering community when it comes to this issue.

Secondly, I wasn't offering an olive branch. I was trying to explain why most people here think you're a crank and have no respect for your opinions on anything. I mean, normally I wouldn't care, but you put people off issues that I think are actually worthy of attention. You make a living from working with language, right? Then you should know that dialogue is more than a matter of seeing who can yell the loudest or posts the most links.

Oh and Joo, out of curiousity, your screenname is 주립관리, right? "State servant"? My palentier is coming up blank on this one.

Maybe we could have a poll to see who people think is the bigger whacko? Joo, EFLtrainer, what do you think?

출입리 as in short for 'immigration office'. Of course! (I think 'state servant' suits you better though)

Oh, and just now, almost seven years into the Bush presidency I've just found out why he's called 'Dubya'. I'd been reading it as 'Doobya' Embarassed

The poll that said 87 percent believe it was an inside job or was allowed to happen, or the gov't was negligent or they believed there was something they weren't being told? THAT one? Putz.

Oh, and WHAT consensus? Wasn't aware a significant majority of structural engineers had spoken up. I also was not aware I had denied ANY valid engineering data. That is your incorrect assumption. Also, your point is baseless regardless. One could agree with all the engineering data against an implosion and still believe 9/11 wasn't simply a terrorist act. A huge amount of the evidence is not related to engineering AND it is entirely possible that any conspiracy consisted of just not stopping it.

I need a better opponent. You offer zero challenge, son.

You mean saying "idiot" puts someone off a thread more than flat-out lying, straw men, ad hominems and bullshit? And you think anyone with such a weak mind is ever going to actually be "into" and issue? Dealing with real issues in the real world takes a hell of a lot more gumption than that. Really, you shouldn't speak on these phantom people's behalf, because you make them look as foolish as yourself.

Gosh, guess I missed THAT poll.

Wake up. At every turn you try to make me the subject because you cannot win on the merits. Give it up, son.
