and it might be a bit of a stupid one, but what the hey.

If I buy a Mac from Korea's Apple Store online, can I get it with an English OS?

Anyone have experience doing this?

(The other thread, "Apple products" is totally out of control, so I'm hoping someone can help with a specific, constructive answer here. Thanks.)

NEW QUESTION: What about the Super Drive? If I buy the machine here, will it only burn region 3 DVDs? 'Cause that would suck.

ETA: Never mind, got my question answered.

Yes you can. MacOS X has several languages it can run on. So when you first boot it up you will select your language of choice.

Also buying Mac in Korea will give you Korean keyboard which is OK.

Ah, right! I'd forgotten (it's been so long since I've been computer shopping). Thanks!
