Quite a few people have asked me about the girl in my signature photo.

Here's a recent interview with the young lady.

ShenYue: Tell us about yourself.

Tiffany: My full name is Tiffany Toh Sue Yen. I will be turning 19 this October, 14th October to be exact. I am Malaysian Chinese (I have however, been asked if i was Korean or Japanese many times. There was this one incident where the guy refused to believe that i was Chinese and insisted that i was Korean.) I have completed two years of my degree in the American Degree Transfer Program in Malaysia. I will be going to the State University of New York, Buffalo to complete my remaining two years this August. I am majoring in Political Science. My interest in this field began when i was 15, when i participated in a national United Nations Competition. My passion for this grew when i represented my country in the Model United Nations Conference held in Beijing, China. (If you google my full name, you'll find it!! lol..) Hopefully, I will be able to make a difference in this world once i attain my degree. I completed the first two years last December and am currently working part time in Swedish Marque, a company which deals with Volvo Cars, to pass the time.

ShenYue: How did you come up with that brilliant idea?

Tiffany: Okay, my main intention was to get on the giant screen on the day of the concert so that he would at least notice my existence. Obviously, i got so much more than i bargained for. How did i come up with this idea? Well, i realized that i needed something very attention grabbing, which could be carried out with a very low budget. So i decided to make a poster with something crazy written on it. After taking some time to brainstorm, i decided that writing "I'm pregnant with your kid" was the best idea i came up with. At that time, i was kind of dating a Korean, so i got him to translate it for me. I have no idea what possessed me to do what i did next (i was probably so convinced that Rain would call), but i (stupidly, may i add), included my mobile number on the poster.

You can find the rest of the interview here.

She's a cutie!

I might make her my new avatar (sorry, BoA!). Then people might really start wondering "Who is that?"

By the way, she'll be coming to Korea for a holiday at the end of this month, so she can find out first-hand how famous으 she actually is.

A trip down memory lane: My best bud and I represented a country in the Model United Nations. We wanted to ensure we'd get chosen to go, so we put as our first preference an obscure-seeming small African nation with a cool-sounding name: Ivory Coast. We wore pink t-shirts (it was '84 or '85 and the Miami Vice pink pastel look was in) with the country name transfered on in white, had sunglasses and brought a bunch of bananas to share (as an example of our national export)... what a hoot! got to like the Beatles for the first time as it was played continuously on our long fun bus trip to the assembly. Flashback over.

I thought that last part was a scream.

A: So what's your ethnicity?

B: Chinese.

A: No, you're not! You're Korean!

B: No, I'm not Korean.

A: Yes you are!

B: Confused
