HEARING LOSS IN CHILDREN ADDS TO SUBSTANTIAL MENGITIS RISK!!
CHILDREN WHO ARE STRICKEN WITH SEVERE HEARING LOSS ARE FIVE TIMES MORE LIKELY TO CONTRACT MENINGITIS, ACCORDING TO A NEW STUDY!!
THE STUDY, CONDUCTED OVER A NINE YEAR PERIOD, MONITORED SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX THOUSAND CHILDREN IN DENMARK BETWEEN NINETEEN NINETY NINE AND TWO THOUSAND AND FOUR!! IT IDENTIFIED 39 CHILDREN WITH BOTH HEARING LOSS AND MENINGITIS; OF THESE CHILDREN, FIVE WERE FIRST DIAGNOSED WITH HEARING LOSS, AND LATER, MENINGITIS!!
THE AUTHORS DETERMINED THE LIKELIHOOD OF A CHILD DEVELOPING MENINGITIS AFTER LOSING THEIR HEARING IS FIVE TIMES THAT OF OTHER CHILDREN!! THEIR RESEARCH INDICATES THAT FACTOR COULD BE AS HIGH AS TWELVE TIMES THAT OF OTHER CHILDREN!!
PREVIOUS RESEARCH BY THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION DETERMINED THAT CHILDREN WHO RECEIVE COCHEAR IMPLANTS TO COUNTER HEARING LOSS ARE MORE LIKELY TO DEVELOP MENINGITIS!! WORLDWIDE, NINETY OF THE SIXTEY THOUSAND PEOPLE RECEIVING COCHLEAR IMPLANTS HAVE BEEN STRICKEN WITH MENINGITIS, DRAWING PARTICULAR CONCERN WITHIN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY!!

I'm having trouble understanding the point of the 24pt/cap/bold posts. Is it supposed to be parody of stevemcgarrett putting his thread titles in caps? Because otherwise the only poster to play around with oversize text was Meegook, and he's long gone.
But if you think 24pt/caps/bold is amusing, you should try some of these sidesplitters:
- [size=28][/size]: biggest you can get!
- posting with [color=lightgray][/color]: hard to see!
- [size=1][/size]: small!
