Just curious, it seems quite a few posters have lived in other countries other than North America and Korea. Where did you enjoy life the best? I've been back in the US for six months now and I know that at least for me, I know what the answer ISN'T.

Mexico. Laid-back people, good beer, friendly latinas, warm water, interesting architecture, culture & food. If I could have made money there I would have stayed.

Although Korea does have its charms as well. Example: I've noticed that soya sauce here is quite inexpensive.

Loved living in the Greek Islands, Australia and New Zealand, Mexico, Whistler BC.

Have not precisely loved living here, but the work has been good, so you make do.

Africa is the greatest. its real, exhilirating, simple, complicated, and closer to god than anywhere else.

Well definately like Korea better than Bolivia. The immense class and racial divide is really ugly there and although the food a most of the people are great it really really got to me after a while (just wanted to scream when a saw a kid's cholita maid taggin along behind him carrying his backpack to school everyday).

I agree that Africa is an amazing place, but I couldn't live there. Why is it that some of the most pretty places on this globe are the ones that have so much violence?

Sigh

I clicked the "Latin America" box. However strangely if things were vice-versa, meaning lots of money in South America and nothing at all in Asia.. I'd probably be clicking some 'Asian' box instead.

Cameron Highlands in Malaysia.
Granted I was only there for a few months but I loved it.
It's in the hills so it's not hot, there's great hiking and the Brits shipped in thousands of Indians to work the tea plantations so it's pretty multicultural...and the food is brilliant.
