Does anyone know of a good travel agent where I can get a refundable flight to the UK? I'll be paying in cash, and hoping that my refund is also in cash. Does anyone know what the deal is with refundable tickets, re service charges, commission and all of that stuff?

I have never had any problems with Kangsan Travel in Pusan.

You get refunds at the airport can't you? So, it doens't matter where you bought your ticket in the first place.

If you purchase directly from the airline and pay CASH to purchase a refundable ticket you will only pay about a 20k won service charge to cancel the flight. Refunds usually happen in a few days (typically 3).

If you go through a travel agent refunds for cash tickets can take up to 30 days to process.

Either way (airline or agent), if you use a credit card, refunds on a refunable ticket usually occur in 3 working days.

I spent 455000 won on a ticket to the Philippines nearly a month ago but was unable to go. The travel agent said it takes 2 months (i.e. May) to get a refund, minus about 100,000 won charges or tax or whatever.
