it is 3:30 on wednesday and it started absolutely pouring. i just looked out my office window and i saw classes had stopped because the students were looking out the window too. the thunder is loud and close. i looked down onto the softball field and i saw the softball girls running.
at first i thought they were running for cover, but then i noticed they were grabbing their gear and carrying it ONTO the field. apparently they are going to START practice.
I just cancelled my session of playing catch with the PE teacher, i really dont understand. how much work can you get in with the skies full of gray clouds and a ton of water covering a field of mud? and really, how smart is it to hold up metal bats when there is lightning within a few miles?
