Ever notice that when something doesn't seem to work out....a whole ton of stuff doesn't work out?

I want to change my internet service becuase Megapass is a ripoff. I decided on LG xspeed because I can get high speed for 28,000 a month. My co-teacher and I phone and go through all the process of setting it up...finally after 10 minutes on the phone the call operator tells my co-teacher, "oh we cannot accept any foreigners"

Next week we have school excursions from Wednesday to Friday. No students at school and no classes. I was looking forward to going on the trip with my grade 2 students to Jirisan. The vice principal told my co-teacher I can't go and I must stay at school. Freaking lame!!!

Dude, I feel your pain. I was told the same thing by the same ISP. It's just one of those things you have to accept about living amongst the Han. However, regarding school, think of your Korean co-teachers tomorrow when you are sleeping off a hangover or enjoying your day off. Chances are they will be working.

The power of positive thinking.

You're right. I have to come to school but I can bring my guitar and watch a movie on my classroom projection screen. I can also probably just ditch after lunchtime.

It's just weird how it always seems that several annoying things will happen all at once to me in Korea. Like, I'll go 6 months and everything's awesome and then one day will just be the worst ever!!!
