This morning I recieved a spam email purporting to be from paypal.

I was curious as my paypal account was never activated.
(I won't go into that here)

So I opened the email and read to my astonishment that my "order for some unspecified DVD" that I never ordered was being shipped to some person in the US whom I've never heard of and I was being billed for almost $400. us on my credit card. Shocked

I have read about so many horror stories with paypal that I am not sure if this was from their own site or just some scammer.

In any case I didn't click anything in the email, I just deleted it.

Then I went to www.paypalsucks.com and read about the many scam Phishing sites that are in operation. According to what I read, I did the right thing.
There seems to be a current wave of these things circulating on the internet.

I just wanted to warn others about this scam.

Don't click anything if you get one of these.

PayPal and eBay scams are easy: just go to your paypal or ebay account and check your mail there - if it's not there too, it's bullshhit
