| Anyone have any recommendations for a backpack suited to Southeast Asia? Any necessary features indispensible discovered only through experience? What not to buy? |

i bought a backpack in a Daegu market which had its brand name proudly stiched into the back in large type: Colon Sport
yes, the bag was brown. only problem with it was the zipper never stayed up. i went down many a dusty road with the pack.
the marketing options are endless. |
