I tried to lock my bike lock to a handrail, but instead I locked only my lock to the handrail. My bike got stolen. Embarassed

Hmm, I've got a few winners.

1. My parents used to own a convenience store (I'm gyopo). This was back when coke was still in the glass bottles. There were cases of these glass bottles stacked in the house. So I'm wrestling with my cat one day and thought it would be a fine idea to climb the stack of bottles and do like a frogsplash on my cat. Needless to say it didn't turn out how I expected and it ended with cuts all over my body.

2. Letting a random black guy in the ghetto double on my bike (actually my friend's which I borrowed). I got jacked.

3. Riding a bike down a flight of stairs. My feet lost their grip on the pedals and my taint landed squarely on the top crossbar with my full weight. Was incapacitated for a good 5 mins.

4. Rollerblading down a pavement walkway of about 45 degrees with lots of twists and turns. Realized it was physically possible for a body to bounce off its stomache.

I do stupid things consistently.

Ive accepted it.

However, many of these stupid things turn out not to be so stupid. The time varies greatly as to when and if I reevaluate the stupid things and realize in some oftentimes abstract indirect way they may have been smart things in the whole scheme of things along this precarious path of life.

Dumb *beep* fucted-up doings are a way of life for me.

I could give a great example from tonight. But I wont.

Dont get me wrongI do profoundly smart things too; but those stupid things always lurk.

And most significantly ( and an unavoidable clich) I strive to know thyself so that I know ,even at the time, that Im doing something stupidas I said, Ive accepted it.

But I think stupid things may be fuel for the brilliant things I do. Yeah, dont make me explain that truththe whole cosmic tide thing.

Anyway, Im still here doing stupid crap while intermittently doing extraordinary things that amaze myself.

If I didnt do stupid *beep*, Im not so sure I could do anything truly creative; for what would there be to overcome?

Stupidest thing I've ever done? Lots to choose from, but I can probably narrow it down to 2 and flip a coin.

1) I flew 9000km for the sole express purpose of pouring out my heart and telling a woman I was totally in love with her. Had her in my arms and chickened out.

2) Was asked to join an Olympic training camp (I had been to the one previous) and go to Barcelona. I declined because I wanted to finish my degree first. They won gold. And I was too out of shape for the next Games.

Yeah, never "loan" money to a friend, ever! You can give it, but you must do so realizing you might never get it back. Your friend may get angry if you don't loan them money, but they will still be your friend. I have a cut off of 20 bucks to friends (if we were at the bar or restaurant, even if not payed back, who cares).

I have never done a stupid thing in all my life. Everything has been done according to Allah's Will.

Planted a needle in the sofa for my stepsister to sit on. I then forgot about it and sat on it myself.
