Hmmm. See if you take a pillow on the plane, like a normal bed pillow, do you reckon they'll count that as a carry on piece of baggage? I never know. I sort of have to fly with my laptop case and my camera case (not a compact camera so can't pack it), neither of which I could check in anyway. So I reckon they count as my baggage and cant take a hand bag or anything pillow-esque. Or, am I being ridiculous? Comments please. Cool

Even an air canada employee wouldn't count that as any part of luggage (yet Smile ). You should be safe with it.

If they try to count it as a carry on, just stuff it under your shirt.

No, it won't count as carry on. You can bring a blanket too. If they say anything, which is doubtful, say it's for therapeutic reasons.

Stuff the laptop in the pillow case. Tell the flight attendants it's a protective case.

Your laptop won't count as a piece of luggage, it's a personal item, like a purse or briefcase. You can have one of those. A pillow and blanket don't count either.

Actually, I had a problem with one airline that said my purse counted as one carry on,so I stuffed it in the pillow case and went through.
