In any case to get to the rest of your argument you really mean to say that the rounding over of a few thousand possible spies who were released at the end of the war even remotely compares to gassing naked women and babies? Dude, he didn't. He didn't say that they "had only killed a million Jews". Check the tenses of his sentences, and try to learn the language you are supposedly teaching. You are trying to stir up *beep*... And he wasn't comparing the level of atrocity, just saying that bringing up the Holocaust does not discount that what was done to the Japanese wasn't a good thing either. |

I don't have my facts, but I thought it was 4 million jews and 2 million other folks killed in the camps and such.
Not to mention 20 million ruskies. |

listen dummy, here's how this thread breaks down:
post 1: link to war era documentary/news story on internment of JAPANESE americans. Reason for the link, because the OP was wondering if the US might do the same thing to muslims. NOT JEWS, muslims. NOT Germany and POLAND, AMERICA AND MUSLIMS.
Post 2: The OP makes reference to well know Exec order 9066. Again, not about europe, not about jews, or poles, or homosexuals or nazis. About America and Japanese in WW2.
The next bunch of posts was whether or not the American gov would/could intern muslims in a similar manner to which the japanese were interned. Scattered among these posts was a guy who thought the American OP was being anti-american.
Then along came you chimming in about Europe, jews and the holocaust, when the rest of us were talking about America, muslims and the war on terror.
Then the thread went nuts and that was caused by YOU.
Maybe BJ's newest post is right, maybe you are some contrived user, in which case go adjourn to your bedroom and wank it and get off that way, rather than buggering up reasonably interesting discussions, and leave the rest of us be. |
