It sure does. "Solitaire" is very popular, perhaps the most popular game at the office. |

For reasons too numerous to mention (though they'll be immediately apparent to anyone who's ever compared) Yahoo Games is the worst place on the entire internet to play backgammon. There's no contest. God, it sucks. Clunky, fugly, riggable, and just a grim ordeal. This is the version of online backgammon they use in Hell.
I have nothing against Yahoo Games or Yahoo itself. But people who play there must do it out of love for Yahoo, not for backgammon. Yahoo Games Chess blows, but in different ways. |

I used to play Literati (Scrabble) on there but I stopped because I got sick of the way people played. I like to try to make long words that are easy to play off, but most people I played with would constantly cram the board with idiotic 'words' that aren't even in the dictionary. It's like all they care about is racking up points. I hate competition. Ruins just about any game. |

I used to play Go Stop on Yahoo! until they discontinued that game. I think people were winning too many points in that game which they were using in other games with an unfair advantage. |

I hear ya on that one Q... too many nonwords. I still like it but try to make cool long words when possible.
There's another one called "word racer" full of nonsense words but still good when you can make longer words for big points. Words like "pht" are acceptable but some common slang are not.
I also play a card game called "hearts." Easily the rudest bunch of players ever. |

I like to play Literatti (which is actually a bit different than Scrabble, the number of each letter isn't as static as Scrabble), but I get beat most of the time -- even by non-native English speakers, which hurts. |

I used to play literati, too.
I used to belong to a couple of leagues!
Weaned myself off it, though... |
