I apologized for making a personal attack. Thats it. Hite apologized but he knows full well what I want an apology for. And its NOT for attacking Poland, because Ive made it clear before, I dont get my feathers all ruffled up for attacks on my nationality or whatever.

Poland wasn't a country until Wilson made it one in 1919. Hitler decided to recitfy that and, Poland being weak, took it.

Maybe I just don't like Poland. Never did anything good, so why shouldn't they be a part of greater Germany - Octavius Hite

All that proves is that you don't have a sense of humor.

No. What it proves is that hatred of Bush has made some people insane. Was it a joke? Even if it was, it was disgusting to even consider going there. However, have a look at IGTG's posts where he compares Guantanamo to Auschwitz and Bush to Hitler to see the f'ed up sense of perspective coming from the LSB on this board.

I'm not sure what you want an apology for, but I wonder if its not the wife comment on the other thread? Was that it you big baby? Ah Jinju, don't you have a bunker to dig or commies to kill?

I suppose a lot comes down to the hierarchical culture whereby people can't challenge or question-and to do so is suicide. Korea to me is the perfect example of a society designed to create a Kim Jong Il. In Africa, you had the tribal system whereby everyone identifies with their ethnicity and their identity is subsumed within the group. The group punishes wayward individuals, and the big chief holding power takes all, unchallenged.

Yes, this has a lot to do with it. And the same goes for the Arabs, a peculiar trait painfully noted by T.E. Lawrence when trying to unite them against the Ottoman Turks. Indeed, Benjamin Barber (in Jihad vs. McWorld, 1996) made the point that tribalism is what is driving much of the reaction to globalization and Western-exported political thought in general.

Even Bono spoke out harshly against government corruption and complicity in the matter of distributing aid relief on his recent tours of Africa. But of course it's not politically correct to point this out.

No, we're taking the piss because he's a ranting drooling wingnut who keeps trying to bait people into indefensible positions and no one is taking him seriously anymore.

Like what happened to crackpots like you and "the gays want to recruit my bum! Oh noes!" tower of brilliance known as Jinju.

There goes twg, aiming his mechanical pencil and shooting blanks when he can't think of anything to sketch for his cartoon strips.

Korean nationalism is basically tribalism.Individualism is a relatively new concept on the planet. Koreans will tell you that nationalism is what drove them to succeed economically due to their fierce competitive nature. But to go any further, they have reached a point where they have to shed it I think. There is competition, and there is co-operation.

That girl in your avatar has a really big neck, huh?

Oh, and I also suspect someone else will feel compelled to respond to your post. But that's just a hunch.

Hey punk azz!

How about you post a thread title that is not all in caps?

Or is that that all you right wing types secretly crave attention?

Laughing Laughing Laughing

Let me get this straight...you people get all worked up because he puts his thread titles in all caps? Yet, MoS, in a very lame attempt at proving some sort of point, types entire posts in caps and huge letters (wasting space) and you give it a pass? You *beep* lefties are absolutely kooky. So what if the guy puts his title in all caps? His posts are not in all caps so why do you all freak out? Methinks you can't deal with the content so you criticize the capital letters in the title. Get a *beep* life.

How could it not occur to you that MoS's entire post was a pisstake on Steve's constant use of allcaps titles?

The doublethink kicks in when it's time to blast liberals eh? And then you have the nerve to accuse others of hypocrisy.
