No way- as you can see by his avatar, he helps investigate bloody murders by day, then commits his own by night.

Dexter is such a great show. Any idea when season two comes out or how would I get it in Korea?

It's a good show. I don't know when the second season starts.

Ten years ago, when I first arrived in Seoul, I was teaching ESP/law classes (part-time) for the Ministry of Justice at the rate of 75,000 won per hour. Many, many 100,000 won per hour privates resulted from this job: teaching judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and even law students a variety of ESP/law classes.

All this was in addition to the 2,500,000 won per month salary (twelve 50 minute classes, no office hours, no unigwon clases, more than five months vacation, etc.) and three bedroom apartment I received from my uni gig.

Life was sweet.

Well, I was a lawyer in the US for ten years, and, in addition, I was a qualified experienced teacher.

I suppose part of it was reason (legal background, teaching background, networking, hustling, etc), and some of it was random (luck, timing, demand for someone with my skill set, etc.).

Hope to do it again when I return to Seoul next year.

Just a heads up man...

1) Depending on your visa, teaching privates can be very illegal.

2) You cannot call yourself a "lawyer" here. I'm not sure what it was like 10 years ago, but nowadays, they're really strict with it. Your cards need to read something like "legal consultant".
