Oh thank you for allowing us Ohioians to "count for something"! But you mean....mean....I'm a HYBRID of South and Midwest? Oh, heaven forbid! Save me! Save me! I border Canada and a hybrid of "hillbillies"!~ |
I grew up in Southern Ohio in farm country and trust me, hillbillies aren't just in Kentucky. |

I'm from Kansas City/Topeka. I have found that a large portion of the Americans I have met here are from somewhere in the midwest. |
That's because the pay there sucks. (Coming from a fellow midwesterner) |

I'm not from the midwest myself, but some of my good friends here are from the Minneapolis area. Midwesterners are good people. I'm from the southern US (Florida). Is anyone else from down my way? |
It depends on what you mean by "down my way", I was born in raised in Orlando, and by Orlando I do mean the city of Orlando (lost of people say they're from Otown and are really from a suburb). I have a lot of family in South Florida. Whereabouts are you from? |
Yeah, I know what you mean by the suburbs. I was born in Titusville, but spent most of my life living in Orlando around College Park. It's good to know there are some Otown people here. |

Any place or person that plays euchre is "midwest" (or Australian). If you can't play euchre then you are NOT from the midwest! |
Actually, I've found that euchre players generally come from either Ohio or Wisconsin. |
Really? I'm from northern Illinois, and my friends and I at home play euchre, but then again, we're awfully close to the Wisconsin border, so maybe it's the WI influence. |

I'm originally from the northern part of the lower peninsula of Michigan (I have to clarify that, because if I just said Northern Michigan, people often think I mean the upper peninsula of Michigan). I visit my folks and other family members about once a year. |

I grew up playing euchre in upstate NY; see what I mean - Rochester is the start of the midwest. |

I'm from Rockford, IL. I just tell people that I'm from Chicago; it's easier. I used to live in Minnesota. I went to a tech. school in this little town called Red Wing. |
