Hi there

I have had two parents' classes at my elementary school this week and I have been putting into practice some ideas about what to teach them.

I used a listening comprehension from a textbook. Then I showed them songs, and dialogue, from films.

Open to any new ideas for next weeks' classes,

Shouvik.

I have two hours a week for parent's classes. I'm thinking of just following a coursebook - American Headway. The parents can buy the student's book and workbook. It's a bit lazy but it works.

I've also got 2 parents classes a week as of next week.

I've been asked to come up with a 3 month plan.

1 lesson per week and I've got to spread that lesson over 2 classes, any suggestions on what I should do for class 1 and then class 2?

Question is where do I start, when I don't even know at what level they are at?

You cannot. Just do a vague outline. Rip it from an adult textbook. Designing a course without having done a level test is a ridiculous idea. Ah, Korean edumacation. Don't ya love it?
