Bill Orally, 6 Star General of the Joint Chiefs of Armchair Warfare and Dean of Journalism at TooyA U., is at it again:

Does it occur to you, Octavius, that you are Bill O'Riley's antithesis and therefore not substantially different as a political entity (just on different sides)...?

I wish I had my own TV show and radio show.

If I am his antithesis, whose are you? Noam Chomsky?

Do not know. But I could do worse than to be described as Noam Chomsky's antithesis.

Is that how you see me? I'll take it, then.

Gopher:

Octavius was Noam the Socialist's tutee at MIT in the days when he used to sleep on the steps of the admissions office, don't ya know? And he wishes he had O'Reilly's salary, too.

Octavius:

O'Reilly would make mincemeat of you in an on-air debate, just as he put Maher in his place recently. Once again you post a topic for sheer provocation since we all know you don't give two shi-ts about American success in the war in Iraq.

O'reilly makes mincemeat of no one. He gets his ass handed to him all the time, and the most recent incident, the one discussed in this thread, shows what he does when he really loses it; he just cuts their mic, which is something he does quite a bit, both on the radio and on the tv show.

He shouts people down and if you persist he ends interviews.

He's an awful journalist/interviewer. I'm saying this with no reference to his political positions, just his demeanour.

Left, Right, or whatever. That was the most pathetic piece of journalism I have ever seen. ANYONE who thinks O'rielly is a journalist and is "fair and balanced" needs some serious help.

Man, I want to be Bill O'Reilly's antithesis! Let's see what would that look like...

Fair, balanced, rational, secure, mature, calm, well-informed, young, and good looking. Oh, yeah, but poor and not infamous.

I'll take it!

Right! I forgot to add "socially acceptable sexual behavior" to the list.

Just on a side note....

Title of thread mis wrote:

Our?

So whose troops Bill hates depends on where the reader is from?

It was the title of the story, not my troops, my troops are in Afghanistan. We stayed out of the illegal and immoral war on Iraq.

This doesn't even make sense. I'm not an interviewer or journalist. Moreover, if you agree, why are you praising him? Or maybe you're praising me?
