hey at least Oxford, Stamford, Harvard and Yale etc have a reputation that transend their native soil. U of Athabasca??? Never heard of it, and its not because im ignorant, as i have been researching overseas universities for a PhD programme for 3 years, but because it lacks a reputation.

Athabasca is Canada's leading provider of online degrees. Can oxford say the same? Does oxford even offer online degrees? I don't think so. Athabasca 1, Oxford 0.

If your still looking for a PHd school though you really should think about Stamford. Heres the website:

http://www.stamford.edu/new_web/index.asp

Great school, and Thailand is truly the Land of Smiles.

Koreans always seemed pretty wierd to me when I was in london. They used to sit in the street, squatting. I thought they were protesters at first.

Maybe other cultures are just different, I dunno.
